After viewing verious projects on NeoVox I chose to write about 12/8/80 a poem by Lisa Petracca. I was drawn initally to the colorful background image. Also, I liked the content of the poem. While I was reading, I thought about the people that had an impact in my life that had passed away. Also, I thought of many influential people that had made in impact in history, arts and literature. It made me feel grateful for those that had changed the way we think, act and how we live today. Also, I wondered who the author was writting about because after I read the poem, I looked back at the image an noticed a person’s face among the earthlike planets. From a writing/designing point of view, I liked the fact that I was drawn back to look at the background image and able to contemplate the meaning of the words even more. After reading other projects posted on the website, I thought about how these types of projects have introduced a whole nother genre of literature and art work. It is very fascinating to watch and see how this will influence educators and students.
