http://neovox.cortland.edu/studio/studio_06/studio_06.html Apology by Anthony O’malley I picked this project over others because my friends tell me I apologize too much for things that sometimes I have no control over. The poem talks about an apology to someone who has once cared for someone. I was drawn to this poem for it’s title but as I was reading it, I could relate to the content and what the poem was saying. It did make me think about the times I have apologized, who the person was I was apologizing to and why I was apologizing. With my relationship with my boyfriend I do apologize for many things and he comes back to tell me that I shouldn’t apologize for little things. I know this poem deals with something bigger than just the little things, but reading it made me feel into more the times I’ve apologized. It could be too that the author is apologizing for only the first time to the person who’s finally walked out on him. The background image adds a nice effect when you notice it is a face with a tear rolling down his/her face and makes you think into that the author should have done more. Very nicely done, both the poem and artwork behind it.
